Who we work with...
At Core Therapy Solutions, we provide therapy for adults who are seeking support to navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. We welcome clients who want a safe, collaborative space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment.
Therapeutic Approaches
Our approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-focused drawing from evidence-based approaches including solution-focused work, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and acceptance-based therapy. Together, we focus on building awareness, strengthening resilience, and creating change that aligns with what feels meaningful and sustainable to you.
Modalities Used
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
SFBT emphasizes what is already working and builds on existing strengths and successes to create momentum toward change. Rather than remaining focused on problems, we identify your preferred future, notice small wins, and amplify progress through focused, hopeful conversations that support goal achievement.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
MBCT helps you develop nonjudgmental awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. Mindfulness skills support observing difficult experiences without becoming overwhelmed, allowing you to respond more intentionally instead of reacting automatically. This approach enhances emotional regulation and psychological flexibility.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns that influence mood and behavior. We work together to shift rigid or distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced, realistic perspectives. CBT also incorporates behavioral strategies to support positive change and reduce avoidance.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT supports accepting what is outside of your control while committing to meaningful actions aligned with your values. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable thoughts or emotions, we focus on changing your relationship with them so they have less influence over your choices and behavior.
